Our little guys are settling in quite well and getting used to us  Smiley

We are at the stage where we are having them in the bonding pouch during the day.  The next step will be having them in the pop up tent with us.

Just wondering how long to leave it before we do this? And how do we get them back in the pouch after we have been in the tent with them for a while?

Will they go back in when they are ready?

Just want to make sure we are prepared before we do this ...  Any advice is welcome ..

Hi, if you take the pouch in with you they will go back in when they're ready.  There are no rules as to how long you should wait as each glider is different.  Are they comfortable around you or do they just run and hide?  If they're comfortable with you being around then go for it.  Smiley

Ok thanks.  They are getting more used to us, as in they dont crab so much anymore when we have them in the pouch or put our hands in the cage to feed them, and they have licked food off our fingers a couple of times.  They are becoming quite inquisitive when there is a new piece of food put through the bar and do come up and have a sniff before they take it.

The little girl does still run and hide back in the pouch sometimes if we open the cage and she gets startled and she comes out much later than Charlie at night and still seems a bit jittery.  So I think we will leave it a little bit longer before we take them in the tent, but we will definitely be doing this as it sounds the best way to bond with them!  Smiley
