Hi guys, well, I've had my ickle ones for two weeks now, and all is going brilliantly.
They eat everything I give them n don't seem fussy so I've increased what I gove them so there is a little left. They seem to be little gannets!
I have seen them both use the water bottle but was wondering if they are getting enough liquid as I think it is there wee that seems to really smell as if they are dehydrated? is this normal?
How can such little things have completely taken over my world in such a little amount of time? I'm completely besotted by them n now love the face one is comfy enough to use my head as a launching pad across the tent. The other is still pretty shy, will climb on me but runs a mile if I go to touch her! Plus I'm feeling like a crap mummy coz I've had them two week and cannot tell the difference visually at all, only that the one who lets me thouch her is Tink so the other musy be Luna!! I'm sure they're identical twins coz I'm normally farily good at spot the difference. Mind, when doing them in mags the picture isn't running round like loon away from the other pic, ha ha

I've had mine nearly 2 months now, at the beginning I could tell them apart as 1 was more inquisitive and there was a slight difference in size. Now I have no idea who is who and not sure I ever will!

Lol!  You'll soon stop calling them by their individual names and refer to them and 'the girls', 'the boys'. or the 'the horrors'!  Don't worry Emma, lots of people can't tell, I've had mine for years and so I can tell the difference.   Tongue

Smelly wee, they shouldn't be dehydrated because of the amount of water in their diet, I use a probiotic in my mixes at the mo because one of my gliders had particularly smelly poop and it has helped.  The one I have I got from America ages ago, there is one over here but I can't remember what it's called, I'll have a look.

You could also try Elimina odour remover that I sell.

Thank god! if you can't tell yours apart, I've got no hope! lol. Major break through tonight, Luna (shy one) won't have my hand come near her. If I'm in the tent she will happily climb all over me after Tink has been on me for a bit, but as soon as I go to stroke her, she's hiding in the corner. I put a piece of dried papaya/mango treat in the palm of my hand and she sat in my hand eating while my other stroked her!!! Happy Emma  Grin
What do I do with the Elimi... what ever it's called, lol?
I'm thinking I need another bonding pouch too. I use them to get them out the tent and back into cage at the mo, if I put one in, as soon as I put the other in the 1st jumps out, so I put one in there and then the other in the travel box, put the pouch in the cage, bingo, she's where she should be, but the other in the carrier box won't fit in hole so have to try get her out the box and into tent, which was kinda working with me getting scratched but then the other night (I only open lid enough to get arm in but it's obv well big enough for these little escape artists) she was out the gap, into spare room and it was a great game of hide n seek  Shocked , so if I get another they can be in one each for time being for getting them from tent to cage!
P.S. what is this face hugging? I've had one land on my face which I'm guessing isn't a hug, just a landing pad, but the other came and crawled on my face sniffing my eye? I am getting close?

I understand facehugging to be where they glide to you and land smack bang in your face like a little fluffy starfish Smiley I haven't experienced this yet. I hope yours are girls lol I'd hate to end up with a little mouthful ... !

Elimina is a spray which you spray on their food, it has a 98% success rate (apparently).

Quote
Unlike many odor control products on the market that cover up pet urine and musk smells, ELIMINA works internally. You spray ELIMINA on you pet’s food daily, the smell from the pet’s waste will be virtually undetectable to humans within 3 days. The active ingredient in ELIMINA, anthium dioxide, is an oxygenating agent, which means it enhances the exchange of oxygen at the cellular level and improves the pet’s digestion. Anthium dioxide also selectively oxidizes the hydrogen sulfide and ammonia molecules in the waste. So ELIMINA works in harmony with the pet’s digestive system.

A facehug is when they land on your face, so you're kissing their belly pretty much!
