Mummy is now leaving joeys for about 5-10 mins in evening! should we start to handle them?Huh

Help???

Everyone will give you a different answer!!!

I would not handle mine until 4-5 weeks OOP. i think its just as easy to bond with the babies this way rather than stressing the family. Also by that age the babies are well grown and have little chance of being abandoned or hurt by their parents.
Better safe than sorry!

I started handling when their eyes opened for very short periods of time.

Same here - for about 5 minutes at a time after their eyes opened and then as they got older, increased the amount of time.  I've only had 2 joeys born here, they came ip with my first gliders.  Tika & Tas are now over 4 years old and are, by far, the most bonded to me.
