Well, tonight will be my first full moon with my babies so I'm considering ear plugs from what Marie told me when I visited her!
Do other people find they have a rather sleepless night on full moon?
Well, tonight will be a teller...
Fingers crossed it's not too bad, although I must say, I'm pleased it's not a school night so I can make up for lost sleep during the day!!

My gliders live in the bedroom of my 1 bedroom apartment and I sleep in the living room, so I can always close their door and turn up the volume on the TV when they get too loud and wild.  Lol.  Honestly, I haven't noticed a distinct pattern for them to be wild, but I do have to say that it's more common around the full moon.

Well, my first full moon was no where near as bad as I thought it was going to be!
Around 4ish they barked for about 5 mins n then shut up! I have good babies that recognise mummy needs beauty sleep, lol

Is that the first barking you've had during full moon? If i get them they have to stay in my room hoping to partition room off only thing that worries me how noisey they can be cause others in house

I got mine three weeks ago yesterday, so this was my first full moon. They're kept on the third floor landing so there's only my bedroom door and a set of stairs between us. They've barked maybe 4 times sonce we had them, for literally 5-10 mons each time n then shut up again. It wakes me up coz I'm a REALLY light sleeper n I kinda subconsciously listen out for them, but easily get back to sleep. I'd say about once a week they've done it, but as I say, mine only do it for 5 mins. Normally been about 4-4:30 am ish so most people are in a deep sleep then anyway. Although they have once done it at about 1am.
It sounds a little bit like a little dog yapping.

I love hearing mine bark Smiley Always brings a smile to my face, even if I've been woken up

I do, too.  It's adorable!  Their barking doesn't usually wake me up, thank goodness as I do need my beauty sleep badly!  Lol!  The only time I get a bit irritated with their barking is when I am about to go to bed and it starts and then continues for hours!  I always check on them to see if something's wrong and usually everything is fine.  1 time, I checked on the barkers and followed their line of sight and saw a giant house centipede near their cage!  Don't know if they were trying to warn it away or telling it to come closer so they could eat it...lol.

My suggies tend to be noisy the night before the full moon. This month, it was the night before the night before full moon!  Lol!  They barked alot, they started around 9, were still barking at 11, and I don't know what time they stopped as I can sleep through a war!!!
