i just gave my suggies a dried fruit treat & unlike usual there wasnt the usual "sod you i got it first" squabbles
the male actually went & gave his piece to one of the females , ive never seen this before  Huh
is he becoming a proper gent ? or has be bowed to the general knowlege of all males everywhere that we know best when to let women get their own way ? lol

quite often with insects, the males bring foody gifts when they're randy! for instance with mantids they may do this to distract the female and so they don't get eaten themselves! My guess is that this is what is going on here. Even if he's been castrated, he's still gonna want to 'do it' when she's ready.
