Ok guys I have a problem

I have 13 gliders, all look healthy happy greay and fluffy except one

Her name is fenella she came from a breeder I would never recommend, I was sold her too young she wasnt even weened, I had to assist feed her for a couple of weeks until she was happy to eat solids soley. anyway this girl has always been tiny compaired to my others for obvious reasons, shes a sweety, not quite bonded but will come upto me and harass me for treats non the less. well shes gone brown rather quickly in the last few days to the stage where she looks like she has been fed a rubbish diet for months. (note all my other gliders are on the same diet nothign wrong with them all grey etc and healthy and i have had no bad effects from my diet for the years i have been using it) shes going to the vets for a visit to see what they say, shes been seperated from the male incase somethign else is causing this. I really am a wee bit stuck with this really all i can think of is liver but surely i would see other signs if it were her liver.

Note: I am such a twat I forgot all about the marking of the males it is very patchy I will see if its him (still going to the vets though) I will keep her seperated and see if it makes a difference, what a prat sorry guys I wil just go and let the door hit me on the way out

I couldn't reply earlier Lou as I had to go to my 'other' job!  I only get half an hour to do the banking before I vanish!

But to be honest, the first thing that came to mind was male scenting - I have some males with incredibly active scent glands, and the sugs in those cages do seem to be a browner colour.

13 is an unlucky number Lou, I think you need another one!!!  Grin

We always worry about the smaller ones that we know didn't get the best start in life. . . .

I hope it is just marking - if it's splotchy, that sounds like the most reasonable possibility. Hope so!
