Ok, another daft one for you but I swear my Dinx (yes, her again!) 'purrs'!  It's not the chirping sound when they are really enjoying eating something, but it sounds more like a clicking (not the tut tut tut greeting sound).  She does it when she's awake and sat on me, when I'm fussing her and as she's dropping to sleep on me.  I know clicking whilst breathing can be related to RI but it's definately 100% not that!

Anyone else notice anything like that?

Yeh mine do that, like a faint ticking noise. They do it during belly rubs or when theyr getting fusses so I take it as a good sign Smiley

Ahhh, good!  Suggies are clever (?) enough to choose their food wisely and they purr!   Grin

Suggies just never cease to amaze me!

All mine purr when they're getting love or tasty food, it's like an incredibly faint popping sound - it always makes my crazily happy Smiley

Muwahah their purring was one of the (many) reasons I wanted suggies, I found this site quite a while before I got my boys, and spent far too much time listening to the noises on it xD

The majority of my gliders don't tend to chatter too much, preferring their purring noises (though Felix my neutered male chatters anytime you get him out Cool). They chirp a lot though which is lovely Smiley

Luna has taken to coming out of the nesting box, running straight up my arm, over my shoulder and down my back to cuddle up down there. Tink has now clicked onto this, but takes her a little longer to come out the box, she's still a bit cautious.
Well, anyhoo, they decided to curl up together in my dressing gown hood last night and I could have sworn it was a kind of purr they were making! I just wish they'd go down the front like many of yours do so I could peek in at them. Plus Luna (narky knickers) let me stroke her for ages in the nest box last night. Luna's def the trusting one, she'll et me stroke her quite a bit bit still wriggles free when I try to hold her for more than 5 secs! I really want to get to the point where I can tickle their tummys

Dinx's purr sounds nothing like that  Roll Eyes, her's is more like clicking (not the chattering they do as a greeting).

My girlies are always chattering (they're definately women - not keeping quiet.... ooooooh I can hear the debate starting already lol) and last night one of them began purring while chilling on my collarbone!
