Weight question

I posted in the diet section about how much I should be feeding my girls. They polish off 2 cubes of fruit mush a night with 6 Iams each, I gave them 3 cubes each recently and the bowls were clean the next morning. Was wondering if I should constantly give them 3cubes each a night (2cubes is a generous tablespoon btw) but was worried about them getting chubby.
They do seem to be getting bigger but I guess they are just growing as they are both 7months old. They don't look skinny at all, very healthy looking, possibly even slightly chunky somedays.
BUT... I just weighted them. Wasn't the best weighing as I couldn't pick them both up individually. So I weighed the pouch without them inside it which was 70grams, then weighed the pouch with them BOTH inside which was 230grams. That means that TOGETHER they both only weigh 160grams ...
Boo is possibly about 10grams heavier than Peeka, but surely by that they are both at the low end of the weight scale??
They do have a large appetite and would easily eat 3cubes of mush each a night if I let them. Should I be letting them?x

Not all gliders are weighty, they don't 'have' to be at the higher end of the scale. Males are the ones that should be toward the higher end. At this time of year I put oatmeal in their fruit/veg mixture just to give them a bit of extra bulk. When doing a batch I add two tablespoons of dried oatmeal and feed as normal.

Silly question, is oatmeal similar to porridge? Like quaker oaty porridge?
Should I up them to 3 mushy cubes to bulk them up instead cos they'd eat them if they were given them. Maybe better in nurtients than oatmeal as they do have a big appetite?x

Oatmeal is better as it is protein and an good fibre source. It's not the same as porridge, it's really cheap and in Morrisons it's found down the cake ingredients aisle.

Think i'll head down to morrisons tomorrow then! Should I mix it in with the next mush batch? That'l be about a week away tho as I'v just made some. Or should I put it in a bowl with a little apple sauce and feed that way?
Obviously i'm guessing this will put weight on them, what weight should I be aiming for and over how long? I'm not clued up on what is healthy to gain over what period of time, guessing slowly is best. A few grams a month?x

Does adding the oatmeal effect the ratios at all or can I just add it into tillie's recipes?
If the mix is a bit onthe dry side should I add water so the oatmeal swells etc?

The ca:p ratio of oatmeal is 1:1 so it won't really make much difference, and yes, you can add water to the mixture.
