Hi all, joeys are very close to being o.o.p -most days there's a little fist or two black tails popping out Cheesy
I've read a lot of the info on here about joeys and breeding and just have a few q's in regard to the little ones:

1. I want to get some milk powder for "just in case" and was wondering what brands/types people would recommend?
2. Bedding wise what's best when joeys are about? I've got some fleece on the way which I was thinking of cutting up into fairly thick strips and using as bedding as it is now getting very chilly, and I'm not sure if it's a good idea to put my snugglesafe under their pouch (as I have been) in case it overheats the joeys

Mumma is crazily relaxed, she'll still lie on her back and let me stroke her tummy, and even cleans the joeys in front of me so I've got to see some little joey faces (EEEEEE  Grin)

Hey
the milk ive used is the puppy milk you can buy from vets it escapes me what its called (just looked its Lactol), i have never used any extra bedding with joeys, infact my gliders just get the pouch and thats it as they keep eath other warm, always wary of adding anything extra as its always a possible tangle hazzard.
Just be aware that the unfortunate thing with gliders is that it doesnt matter how tame yr gliders are they can still turn and eat the joeys, its happened to me a few times.

It's a good idea to get the milk in, just in case!  You don't need to do anything extra, obviously make sure they're warm as they can't thermoregulate, mum and dad should keep them warm.  You may find that in the early days one will babysit while the other eats and then they swap over.

Hey thank for the help, I have some milk on the way, babies are out and about and I'll be posting a new topic soon with pics! thanks for the warning Mark, I know that joey tragedies aren't uncommon, and am being super careful with ma and pa atm.
