It's not poisonous as far as I'm aware, but again, not something I personally would give mine.  Too strong tasting, and to be perfectly honest, I eat the parsnips in this house!  Mmmmmmmmmm ... roast parsnip!   Smiley

Corn is only given as a very rare treat in my home because it is not that good for them (terrible ratios), but my gliders absolutely love it.  They get a very few pieces each maybe once or twice a month.  At the same time, I make sure to give them veggies that are healthy for them with better ratios to sort of make up for the treat.  lol.  Way back in the day, they would get corn every night in a veggie mix that included carrots, peas, and green beans.  My gliders were perfectly healthy according to the vet - but some of them were also pretty overweight.  Now that I give much more of a variety of fresh veggies, the overweight ones are losing weight and are even healthier.  I'm much happier with their energy levels and activity, as well.
