Reading your posts makes me smile and really looking forward to getting them! Thanks again for this info.

Thats good you can lighten the food bill in that way, every little helps. I’m assuming you brought the starter kit for 2 and once thats finished you buy the treats and nutrients as you need them. Ive had another look at Marie’s shop and there are  lots of dofferent products and types of food and treats for them. Feeling a bit overwhelemed\unsure about what excatly is needed. I want to provide the best diet for them.

It looks like, unexpectedly, I’m going to be moving house soon so have decided that it will be probably be a max of 2 months, hopefully 1 month, untill I buy them. This considered I think out of cage play time will either be a loft space, rafters and ropes etc.. or following your idea of using a corridor with ropes hung in some way.

It sounds like yours have strong personalities! I love the mischief personalitiy, maybe because im a bit mischevious myself Grin.  I was under the impression they could be trained a little in toilet habbits but your advsing not at all  Roll Eyes ?
It doesnt make me think twice about getting them but does make me consider more the enviroment ill keep them in!

Yep, can't train their toilet habits.  Lol!  But, honestly, what's a little poo and pee?  I don't mind it at all.  Smiley  Good luck and welcome to a great forum to help you!

You can't train them to poop and pee in certain places but you can sorta predict when they will do it. Mine both go within 5mins of waking up. I tend to forget that alot tho as i'm so keen to get them out to play ... I had them both sat on my knees wee'ing at the same time last night .... and boy did they wee!

The most expensive thing is obv the start up, as you need to buy all the suppliments at the same time. They can last a good few months tho, and I spend about a fiver a week on food too.

And if your hoping to get a brother and sister from a responsible breeder they wouldn't sell them as a pair unless you agree to get the male neutured x

Nope, no toilet training I'm afraid. Poo is just little pellets so easy swept up after playtime, and flicked off your knee, shoulders etc until tidy up time. Mine wee down my back and then 'top up' the wee when running over me! Minbe had bad smelling wee so I bought the Elimina stuff to make it smell a bit more 'mild'
Think about what wood is in the loft and how it has been treated etc as some as really bad for them and so are treatments used on the woods, but I'm not that clued up about it so maybe start another post asking about that n one of the pros will get back in touch with you.
Remeber they can fit through extremely small spaces so make sure they can't get into nooks and crannies that you can't easily get them out of.
And yes, one of mine has an extremely 'strong' personality lol. wouldn't have her any other way tho!
