I'm not even sure where t o put this! I've just been ratching about the internet and found a site (promptly lost it again) it was selling glider leads!! Yes, glider leads! As in dog lead for gliders 'so you can keep the close and safe' urm... surely this must be damaging to their membrane! it went around their neck, down their back and around their body! now i'm no expert and still class myself as a beginner, but REALLY??? It scares me what you can find...

Yep, just one of the many things available for gliders that I would NEVER recommend.

I was horrified when I found them as well. They can cut the membrane as well as entangle the Glider, according to everything I have read. Some sites even say that the harnesses/leads ruin the bonding process: I can see why.

why would you even want to put a harness/leader on a glider? Its not like it will ever put up with having one on it, aside from the risk of strangulation and injury, if you took the glider outside and on the ground you would probably have every cat, dog and child in a 10 mile radius chasing after you!

Lol, Rhi! It's not so you can take your glider for a walk, it's to prevent them jumping off and disappearing.
