Ok...now I know I am officially a gliderholic...I had an awful dream last night, and woke up sweating!! One part of the dream was AWESOME and featured me chilling out with Lord Sugar and Nick Hewer... Second part was horrific...for some reason I boiled up an egg and used it as glider bedding to keep my parent gliders and their joeys warm...I came back later to introduce babies to one of my friends, and one of the joeys was limp and lifeless having inhaled egg juices!!! I ended up giving it CPR and it came back to life but was really weak with a little black tummy Another part of the dream had me picking up a dead squashed glider from the bottom of one of my cages. IT WAS HORRIBLE

I had an aweful nightmare last week too. For some reason I'd taken mine to vet but the vet lost their travel cage and gave me this crap cardboard thing, and the handles broke. I was in my car and one jumped out the wondow. I was in a total panic and pulled onto the central reservation, jumped out and a big huskie had it in it's jaws, I was screaming and it dropped it on the floor, it looked unharmed n then I woke up. It was horrid. Had to go upstairs n see them in the middle of the night!

bless horrid topic but I guess weve all been there I had nightmares re escaping and drowning re getting too cold (mainly cos in early days mine couldnt maintain their own heat as they were so underweight!) and getting stuck insomething... I actually had to come down and double check a large vase one night to make sure none of them had got out for the cage into it (not inthe room anymore!)
when mine managed one day to escape and reach as far as the kitchen I was nearly hysterical (as not at home had to get friend to rescue them as I was on a train) was terrified they would drown in the sink, get stuck in the bin, got out through the tumble drier vent etc.
my poor friend had to eliminate all of those before she could set about tempting them back to the cage with yogurt! (the escape was due a cage door falling open?! combined weight of several gliders who knows! all doors are now closed with several pegs as a fail safe! and the gap near the roof is filled with coated chicken wire type stuff)

the worst one i had was a dream before just i got my python. I had a dream it got out and magically managed to open the glider cage and i found it the next morning at the bottom of the cage, but no gliders.

I've not had any (that I remember... but I rarely remember dreams) about the gliders, but I've had one about Louis (one of my cats) several times. He sleeps right up against me most nights and my arm goes around him.... And I've dreamt he died there in his sleep and I've woken up to him being gone. I always wake up from it and frantically feel him. He tends to look at me like I'm nuts and then go back to sleep.

I haven't had any Sugie dreams, but since ours aren't here quite yet, I'm sure that is why. That said, the last couple of days I keep having dreams about working at a dog rescue and there being this one Pitbull who is sweet as can be but no one will adopt him because of his breed. It's so weird. I've never had a Pitbull nor have I ever known anyone who has. Not saying I wouldn't have one, but not sure where this strange dog is coming from since I've had enough of my own that you'd think I'd dream of instead.
