Vocals - crabbing body language - they almost rear up, they put both arms in the air A different body language - roll on to side belly up in a submissive position (usually in the case of male bullying female), crabbing and holding one paw in the air Running away ... does that count?

running away, lol. On of mine kinda rolls herself backwards, leans to the side, crabs like hell and has the one paw in air thing when she's in a particularly narky mood. It's amazing how twins can be polar opposites!

one of mine (Onion) arches her back up like a cat, guards whatever she is over (usually a food bowl) and lashes out at whoever she is argueing with. The attackee (?) either crabs back while running away, or makes this weird grunting noise, a little bit like a gruff guinea pig, while running away, then starts barking. *rolls eyes*

Onion is the attackee, the other is the attacker.

lol. Bit of both i think! Lets just say it was Widget, would come up to "attack" onions food source, so Onion will then turn into the attacker herself and attack Widget. Suggie behaviour is fascinating! i would love to set up a night camera to see what they do at night.

oh another thing, do sugar gliders do anything with their body language apart from dominance/submissive/reering up? like maybe tail swishing or something? maybe to say they have found something interesting or that they are annoyed or happy?

Yeah - they curl their tail around like a piggy tail sometimes, I think it's contentment because I've seen it mostly when they're eating. They use their tail to transport leaves to the nest by again wrapping it around the item. They waggle their tail about when they're playing.

One of mine wraps her tail round her eyes so she can't see you if she doesn't want to get up. Think it's a bit like an ostrich burying it's headin the sand! lol
