Pinched some scales from work to weight everyone on. Weights are as follows:

biscuit-97grams
widget-86grams
gizamo-75grams
onion-55grams

I mean obviously things like how full their bellies and bowels are
make a difference, but what do you guys think?

Also if other people want to put the weights of their gliders down, be intresting to see how the weights differ. Smiley

Last time I weighted Dinx (a couple of months ago) she was 85g.  TBH Rhi, I'd be thinking about putting a bit of weight on Onion and Gizmo.  Maybe feed them separately with oatmeal and applesauce.   Smiley

thing is with Onion, she eats like a pig! She guards the food bowls and gets a whole bowl to herself practically. There are 4 bowls for 4 gliders and she will have no trouble shooing the others out of the way. I dont understand how she is soo small. She is quite oil and frail if that has anything to do with it, but i was not expecting that weight from her!

Oh no! Not the underweight glider diet! Sad

Age could make a difference too.  How old is she?

she is at *least* 11 years old but possibly older then that.... She was morbidly obese once when she was younger too as she was fed human digestive biscuits. shes gone from too big to too small! lol

She gets fed the 2:1 diet, mainly fruit i will admit, with 1-2 parts veg and cat biscuits every other day. She will get the occasional box of locusts and also a yogurt lid or a piece of pasta as treats.... and as i said before, hogs the bowls to the point of attacking the bigger boys resulting in her getting wrong off me! lol

Giz is the most shy out of the bunch so i can understand his weight being a little lower then average, but Onion has me totally confused as to how she is soo small!

Awww, 11 years old!  Bless her!  That is probably the reason for her lighter weight.  She's an old girl, her bones won't be as dense as a youngsters, she's possibly not as active so muscle wastage will cause her to lose body mass and her bad start could also have affected her.

I doubt there would be anything ominous going on like parasites as they don't come in to contact with dogs/cats/fleas that could carry the parasites, and our water goes through a strict purification process so it's not likely to harbor anything nasty either.

My firstborn sugar glider Chucky and his wife (bride of Chucky) have twins at the moment and Chucky has been pigging out on the extra grub.
Once the babies have moved on i will cut down on mum and dads food although Mrs Chucky is just the right weight.
Mr Chucky is very greedy, he will take  food from his misses mouth  Angry

Lol!  Dinx tries to pry my mouth open sometimes if I don't give her a bit of what I'm eating!  Cheeky little madam! Those claws hurt like hell when they're digging in to your lip!!!   Cheesy

But she still had a tiny head! Huge body, tiny head! lol i wish i knew what id done with the picture.

It's amazing she's managed to reach the age of 11 if she was that bad!  I guess it's testament to the good diet she's on now  Grin

Eugene:  80 grams
Poppy:  75 grams
Sandy:  70 grams
Seri:  71 grams
