on saturday morning I got Mr T out of his cage while I was changing his blanket. He got a fright when one of the kids came rushing into the room and bolted off upstairs. Its quite normal for him to go upstairs as he likes to sleep amongst the teddies in my daughters room before he comes back to play. Anyway Ive hunted high and low for him, Ive left food and water out for him, Ive had everything in my house upside down to find him and theres no sign of him whatsover. I cant stop crying. Its  the fourth night without him tonight and Im devastated that I didnt go upstairs straight away to find him. I know theres nothing u can do but I just needed to talk to someone as Im totally heatbroken

Oh dear  Cry  Continue to take food upstairs for him, have you tried leaving his pouch or his blanket amongst the teddies?  Keep all doors and windows closed, make sure the toilet lid is kept down and keep searching!  He would more than likely be tucked away somewhere dark and warm.

Oh no!! let's hope he just doesn't know when to stop playing hide and seek. Perhaps leave some treats in each room upstairs to try and entice him out. Even if you're not there if and when he takes them, you can get an idea of whereabouts he is. Good luck Smiley

Has he got stuck in a mattress or sofabed/sofa? he might not be able to get back out of some little cubbies

Do you have a cavity wall? some houses have air bricks with slits big enough for them to slip in.

I hope he did not get outside but it might be worth sticking some signs/contacting in the local pet shop/RSPCA/Animal shelter/Animal catcher type person. When our skunk escaped we put signs all over the village and got him back, a glider is very unusual and with a reward people are bound to look. Neighbours searched in garages/sheds/etc for our skunk. Fingers crossed hun

Thanks for advice. Put his pouch outside last night but no luck. Food in house untouched. Becoming a nervous wreck now.y partners taking off the bath panel soon cos I hav nowhere else left to look. Was going to order a huge cage the other day for my two babies but poor Bella is gutted he's gone, she keeps waking up during day and making funny noises. You might think its too soon but I'm in desperate need to get another to keep her company. She's only. 2.5 months but loves her brother. Ive rang vets, RSPCA, even the dog warden but no joy. I'm beside myself here

It's not looking good. Had bath panel off and quadruple checked all over again. Put his cage outside with food in. I'm moving house in two weeks and I'm dreading finding him in some place that I thought I might of checked but haven't, if you know what I mean? Thanks to you all for listening and giving me advice, none of my friends and family understand, they think I'm silly cos they don't really understand how attached I was to my little pal.

Have you trid putting his cage upstairs? Maybe if he hears his little pal making a noise it might entice him out.
