This may sound like a stupid question but is it very painful if a glider bites you when bonding with it?

I think it depends on the glider. I've only been test-bitten, I think I must have smelt like food but obv I don't look like food so they'v had a little nibble to work out if it's me or not. Never broken the skin or made me bleed.
Oh, my new male once groomed my hand abit too rough and cut my skin but that was by accident and still didn't really hurt.
They are capable of biting to the bone i'm afraid, but if you just go slow and learn to judge when they're gna bite then you should be fine. My two girls have never bitten me yet, just dont be nervous to touch them x

A proper bite hurts... Yup. If you think those teeth are made to gouge bugs out of wood.... They're strong!

*points up* really hurts! had to grab one of my girls once coz she made a run for it in the office, n nin there I could loose her for days! She did not take kindly to this and managed to bite the inside or my finger where the knuckle is, couldn't oput her down or I'd loose her so had to let her do it til I got to the cage. def drew blood, and because of where she got me, it hurt every time I bent m finger for days after!
She's occasionally gone for me when I wake her up, but has got a lot tamer now, not been bitten in ages and my other one is too laid back to be bothered. (totally jinxed myself now haven't I?)
