Going great for me. They enjoy it, the girls coat has always been in great condition and it stayed in great condition. Stitch's coat needed improvement and it has definately continued to improve. This diet works for me x

Doesn't linseed have a toxicity to it?

Linseed contains cyanogenic glycosides which require an extremely acidic environment in order to become toxic. Yes the stomach has acid in it but not to the level that would cause linseed to be dangeorous unless it was ingested in huge amounts. To put this in to context, various fruits such as apple, pear, apricots, cherry and peach also contain cyanogenic glycosides, all of which I have been using in my suggies diets for almost a decade. Linseed has many benefits, it is rich in essential fatty acids, fibre, it can lower blood pressure (gawd! I need to be taking it by the ton!) and cholesterol.

Thanks for the clarification I was always led to believe linseed had a toxicity to it (well it does technically) though I always knew you could buy it to eat . Not to be a nitpick, but higher acidity is what makes it safe from what I had read? Water and grinding is what allows it to develop the toxicity? I missed the part where you said you put it in boiled water, heat treatment makes it safe that way (but you destroy the omega 3 apparently) unless the boiling of water is simply for sterilising purposes? also, linseed is a hunger suppressant (because of the gelling it does in water I believe, like my chia seeds do) or is that not much of a concern because it makes up a very small portion of their diet? (it's hard to tell what 2 tablespoon is when you dont have gliders >.<) Not trying to nock the use of linseed and imply its bad or anything, just want to make sure :3

It needs higher acidity to make it toxic. I add water to it so that it softens the outer shell to make it's qualities more accessible. It's the inside that is the most nutritious bit. Boiled linseed is also a popular addition to horses diet to improve fur quality, they recommend boiling it for 20 minutes.
Linseed has certainly not suppressed any of my suggie's appetites! Lol The way in which the appetite suppressant comes in to it is because it has a low GI (glycemic Index) which is good, it means that it releases it's energy slowly unlike honey which has a high GI and releases energy in bursts resulting in peaks and troughs of blood sugar.
I don't give 2 tablespoons per meal for one pair of gliders, I use 2 tablespoons of linseed for a large batch, I recommended half a tablespoon for 6 gliders.

For 6 gliders would these measurements be correct? 1 and a half x tablespoons of WHEATGERM vitamin supplement as per normal 1/4 x teaspoon of bee pollen sprinkle of acacia gum 1/2 x tablespoon of low fat natural yogurt 1/2 a tablespoon of soaked linseed Whizz it all up in the food processor. i know im still horrifically behind! Ive been very shoddy lately, but i have officially sorted my self out and new diet starts next week!
