Batch is made up, used on of the recipe's from here and added the extra bits. I used cranberry & raspberry fruit juice with it.

So, 'before' pics ....

Both of these are Boo (my 8month old female), best I could get last night

She looks quite healthy so far (altho I could well be biased lol) so will be interesting to see how she looks after a few months of this!

This is Peeka (Boo's sister, 8month aswell), she wouldn't budge from my leg so it was hard to get a good pic but you can kinda see what she's like

This is Stitch. He's almost 2yr old and when I got him 3wk ago he had quite bad fur seperation and his tail was rather thin

After 3 wks on the 'old' diet he looks so much better! Not as good as my girls but his coat has improved massively.

The only thing I have noticed with Stitch is that his bald patch seems to have got bigger. Is that because he's producing more testosterone now he's around females?

So .... I'll be feeding the diet with the boiled egg tonight, I hope they like it! Will be interesting to see how they get on x

Well, I made it with a boiled egg last night. Mine have never been interested in boiled egg, normally give scrambled but I figued boiled would blend easier. They've eaten some, no clean bowls i'm afraid but obv guessing it might just take time to get used to. Stitch ate more than the girls but he always does. Should have tried it plain I think with the Iams for the 1st night.

Mite used scrambled egg from now on, and i'll see how much they eat when it's just the mix with Iams tonight. I gave them both (Stitch and my girls) a little dish of Cranberry & Raspberry juice as a treat last night and that was gone in about half hour!

Not had much luck with the goji berries but I don't blame them, they're RANK! But i'll keep at this diet and see how we get on Smiley x

I'm due to make another batch of the new diet again tomorrow, they've all taken to it fine now, mostly empty bowls each morning. All 3 seem to be putting on a bit of weight, Stitch is looking really healthy, fur is definately improved. Peeka and Boo are filling out nicely, guessing they're also still growing anyway but they both look great.

The only days there are a few bits left in the bowls are from the nights they get scrambled egg. They wont touch boiled, they will eat a BIT of scrambled but don't seem too keen. I use egg about twice a week, other days I just use cat biscuits and add a little bit of plain oatmeal to each bowl as they seem to wolf that down . Only using oatmeal over winter tho, will take them off it as it starts to get warmer.

But so far so good! Will try and get some more pics soon to compare x

Yeah, all of mine are doing great on it, I'm very happy with the diet.

When you say some have gained weight, is is a good weight gain or a bad one?

A good weight gain. I think my girls are just still growing into their full adult size now. None of them are fat at all, to me they still feel a little slim to grab hold of lol but I think gliders probably are thinner than they look to hold because of all the excess flappy fur. They all have fat tails and tight coats. I'll try and weigh them tomorrow actually. Stitch's tail was wierd, it was a little skinny when I got him, the base of the tail (nr his bum) was tiny but then about a centimetre down it went bushy and then thin at the end. But now it's thick from the base which is nice. He was the one that was in the poorest condition and he looks great now.

Good  Grin.  Tails do tend to suffer from poor diet, stress, temperature ... you name it!  If there's a problem the tail tells tales!   Huh

Just weighed them all, Tried to be as accurate as I could to the gram as they are just simple kitchen scales but as far as I could see,
Stitch (2yr old) weighed in at exactly 100g
Peeka (9 and half month old) weighed in at 72g
Boo (9 and half month old) weighed in at 75g

I thought my girls had got bigger but last time I weighed them, about 3 month ago I guessed them both to weigh 160g together. I had to weigh the pouch with them inside (i dedcuted the weight of the pouch afterwards). I guess that was propably not a very accure weigh in. They all look good tho x
