i've been reading a few posts and topics and stuff and have noticed that you can feed sugs oatmeal and pasta. what else can they eat that wouldn't normally be in their diet (so not including fruit, veg, egg, yogurt and protein like chicken etc)

and i know that they cannot have chocolate because its poisonous but just out of interest what actually happens to them if they do eat it and would they have to eat a lot for it to make them ill?

Chocolate is toxic to all mammals including humans!  BUT, how it affects you depends on how much chocolate is consumed, and the weight of the mammal. There is nothing published about how much a suggie needs to consume before it is dangerous, but thre is for dogs, cats, mice, rats and humans.

Symptoms of poisoning would be the usual vomitting and diarrohea.

I give mine wheatgerm and linseed now too, I've posted a topic in the diet section called anyone interested which details my 'new and improved' diet.

haha oh another question, with the little scoop thing that comes with the supplements, is it one scoop per sugar glider or does it depend on how many you have? (i have two sugs)

For the cal and booster it's half a teaspoon each per pound of fruit so if you're doing a batch it's easy. If you do the food fresh each night then it is just a light sprinkle.  You can pick up cheap measuring spoons from the cookware dept in supermarkets.

For the bee pollen and gum sprinkle lightly. Smiley
