I was just wondering if anyone knows what causes Gliders to make a whistle-like noise from their nose when they wake up?

My Glider Olive makes this noise regularly but it only lasts for a few seconds, and she doesn't do it any other time apart from when she wakes up.

Any info on this would be appreciated Smiley

Hope you guys had a lovely christmas Smiley

Is the room warm enough for them?  Are they definately out of draughts?  This could be a slight respiratory infection, a bit like when we've got a cold and wake up in the morning and your nose is all blocked.  Check the room, cover three sides of the cage to block out draughts and keep a close eye on her for any abnormal behaviour or if she becomes lethargic.  Make sure her eyes and nose are clear, and if you're in any doubt take her to the vets for a check up.
