Is there another vet in your area? I know people who've had their males done at 12 week and they've been fine

Not many breeders would let a brother/sister pair go without the male being neutered tbh, so most people get them neutered from 12 weeks onwards. So the earlier, the better.
Your male has developed his bald spot on his head. He needs done asap.

Right well i will phone and speak to her tomorrow. When i spoke to her she was keen on learning more about sugar gliders where as other vets in my area didn’t seem as positive as my current vet. She did say her friend at Edinburgh zoo specialises in exotics and she was going to contact her also she has neutered a possum before. I wanted to see what you guys said before i return her voicemail back.

aww brilliant news. When he comes round, he may be a little confused. it can help if you take his pouch in for him or a fleecy blanket that smells of his home to help calm him down and reassure him. =)

Also, ask them to give him something to eat as soon as he starts to wake, cuz he'll want to chew.
