bloody cottage cheese is the bane of my life, I had to scream blue murder about that in skunk diets and the big US experts still think I am talking shit. Same with grapes in the UK diets, they are banned in all my diet sheets and its proven they are linked to renal failure but skunk breeders/keepers/experts in the US still think I am being a drama queen and speaking out my arse.
Just because I do not have a million letters after my name does not mean I do not understand the vitamins/minerals/calcium/phosphorous importance in diets and what can happens when certain foods and minerals/vits etc are mixed/linked. But nope I am just a dumb ass UK cleaner that obviously is far too thick to do anything other than clean up other peoples shit, even though I have been working with strict animal diets for the last 18 years ggrrrr.

 Oops mega rant there.

We love you Lou, and we're grateful for your knowledge!

Alchemy - there is no point even trying to explain, it was exactly the same 10 years ago, I thought the walls were starting to crumble a bit but it seems they've been rebuilt.

yep seems we have a new generation of closed minded people in the US that think the UK are too thick to know how to care for their animals. Sigh

I could still give the so called UK skunk expert (who I might add got her first skunk from me, why did I do that) a virtual battering, she made life so difficult for us when she spouted her crap about her wonderful skunk diet loaded with sweet stuff and cottage cheese.

Well, i cant find the thread about cat food this morning. i cant understand why? it was not getting nasty or personal when i left it. my last post was to say that UK cat and dog food WAS different from US pet food as the meat in it had to be taken from animals that were fit for human consumption.
i have clicked on the link of it posted my Marie and it stops at page three but it was up to page 5 last night!
maybe someone didnt like what we were saying Wink
can anyone find it or know what happened?
 Huh

They've edited it I think. It's now just called 'pellets' and they've cut out some of the shitty relpies and left the good ones. All of mine are still there Smiley And some from a lady that i've converted!

I posted my diet on there to see what the general response was. So far everyone who replied really likes it! One lady didn't really understand what I meant by cat BISCUIT. In her American brain, biscuit translated to cookie. She thought they were quite large sweet cookie things... I told her what I meant ... turns out it's called Kibble in the US  Huh This is her reply
"Ok - so 5-6 pieces of what we would call Kibble.

That sounds incredibly reasonable to me! Especially since your Iams (at least the chicken one - I'd steer clear of the "lamb" one!) Is so much better than ours. "
Made me quite happy Smiley My work is done lol x
