It's very spacey for my two girls lol, poor Stitch must be so jealous! Hopefully i'll be moving him in with them at the end of Feb, then one day it will be the home for a happy little colony Smiley

Wow!!!  That is AMAZING!!  All the space may be why you are having trouble bonding with them, though...  They'd much rather be out and about than spending time with you Wink

When I sit in the cage they won't leave me alone, but when it comes to leaving I struggle getting them off and keeping them both off at the same time. They don't like being grabbed and their so darn quick! It's nice watching them play tho as they do have a lot of room.

Still thinking of what I can do with the floor. I was gona get shavings for it but if i'm going in i'm gona be covered in them and trample them all over the house. Would the floor be ok if it's just kept as floor? It gets swept daily and washed once a week, jsut wondering if in a few months the wee will start to soak in too much and smell? it's hardboard so it's got a noft finish on it, not much has soaked in yet, but if it does then I will have problems lol, especially when Stitch is in there, his pee STINKS!x

id put some lino or some pond liner down. Pond liner is expensive though, but a cheap quality one will do i would of thort.  Then you can just wash it when it gets too bad....

None of mine like being grabbed mind. i have some very bonded suggies, and none of them will put up with being grabbed. i coaxe them towards me with treats then they will usually jump on me for protection to stop the other gliders pinching it off them....

The only time I need to grab them is to get them off me, cos waiting for them to jump off on their own could take hours lol. I suppose they are quite bonded, definately getting better. They like to crawl up my trouser leg now and up my sleeves, but crab at me when I try and get them out ... little gremlins!x

Gliders aren't fans of grabbing as a rule...  Really, if you wanted something you could just pick up and manhandle, you shoulda gotten male rats Wink

I'd go for the lino thing, too....

Noooooo, I don't want to handle them as such, I prefer them being independant and acting like gliders, they're fascinating to watch. Like I said, it's just hard to get out of the cage once i'm in if I just wait for them both to jump off me on their own at the same time lol. Wud just be nice if I could pick them up and put them down somewhere else when I need to get out of the cage x

When we get our scary lady house, you realise you're bringing this with you, so I hope it flat packs for transport easily, lol  Wink
