I've been feeding egg every other day with this new version diet. I've tried boiled egg and scrambled egg and each time I do there is always about 3/4's left. The next day it all gets scoffed, but just wondering if they will ever take to it. I don't like that they barely eat any of their mix. Should I try just putting the egg in a seperate dish rather than in their normal mush so then they at least eat that everyday as I'm blending it all together at the moment. Does anybody else have trouble with egg?x

I give mine egg twice a week but sometime they can go off it if they are offered too often, the same happens with chicken. they also prefer it lightly scrambled, i think they would eat the yolk rather than the white if given the choice.

I am having the very same problem. Now they would eat the egg mix in the HPW with no problem. The egg was in itty bitty pieces. With this mixture the egg didn't get mixed up very well. So this am I gave them another ice cube of the mix without the egg and they ate it just fine. I wonder if putting a little water in the mixture would help. I have to say they have never been a fan of eggs.. I am going to try chicken tonight since they seem to like that. When it comes to the cat food they aren't too thrilled with that either. They mcuh prefered the Canidae dog food I gave them before. It just doesn't have as much protein in it. I might switch to a high protein dog food if they will eat that better. I have to say I am just happy that they are eating the fruits and veggies!!!

you tried soaking the biscuits in with the fruit and veg? Mine wouldn't eat hard biscuits for about a week, then they just took to em. Glad you'rs are eating the fruit tho! Are they weaned off honey yet or are you still having to use a bit? And yeah, you can add water to the mix. I add fruit juice, normally cranberry. Or sometimes a cup full of gliderade (and then don't give it that week) x

I ended up going with baby apple juice. As for the HPW.... Well I went cold turkey! LOL They still took to the mix tho. I think the apple jiuce helped too. Now I just need to figure out how to sneak the protein in there. LOL They actually do like boiled chicken so I am going to try that tonight.. I will let you know how that goes.
