Well i've just been in touch with the 2 closest exotic vets I could find, just enquiring about neutering/health checks etc ...

I did ring a few others who's receptionists all replied "sugar what's??" oh dear lol.

But anyway, there is one at Stamford Bridge, apparently the vet there has treated a few sugar gliders, not sure he's done a neuter yet tho. The receptionist had to ring me back after speaking to him and she said he thinks it's probably along the same lines as neutering a rabbit but he will look into it.

She quoted me £58.87 for the neuter and £51 just for a standard health check. She told me the health checks last upto half an hour hense the price, still seems a lot tho. And does it really take half hour?

The other vet I rang was in Hull. The vet has performed one sugar glider neuter before and is willing to do mine when needed. They quoted me £68.83 for a neuter and £14.65 for a health check.

The health check seems very reasonable, both neuters are a bit pricey tho ain't they! Especially when you guys seem to be paying less than £50 ... maybe they are just so uncommon in East Yorkshire ...

Think i'd better be praying for girls rather then getting twin boys lol, expensive little buggers x

Maybe you should ask what the health check includes.  The neuters are more than we generally pay, but I have seen neuters for a lot more than that too!
