Hiya,

I've been doing a lot of research on the different type of diets and I have well and truly confused myself  Embarrassed lol

So, I thought I would ask you guys what diet have you used that has been the best for your gliders health, appearance and nutrition?

The diet i use is a fruit/veg mix with cat biscuits. The fruit/veg mix is supplemented with glider booster (vits and minerals) and on alternate days bee pollen or acacia gum.

Does this sound ok? I've had ago at making up a few recipes  Embarrassed I've tried to keep it as varied as possible

Protein

Each glider would get 1-2 tablespoons of fruit/veg each

DAY 1- Fresh
4-6 Chicken Iams 1+ biscuits each 1:1

Papaya 4.8:1
Butternut squash 1.5:1
Kale 2.4:1
Sweet Potato 0.8:1
TOTAL = 2:1
Glider booster


DAY 2- Blended
4-6 Lamb Iams 1+ biscuits each 1:1

Mandarine 1.4:1
Pineapple 1:1
Honeydew melon 0.6:1
Figs 2.5:1
Watercress 2:1
TOTAL= 1.4:1 (I know this one is low, which is why I added so many supplements to try to balance it out or should I change this?)

4-6 red runner roaches each 0.8:1 (1:1)

I was planning on giving them a couple of mealworms, yogurt drops, dried mango/papaya for treats, as well as filling holes in branches with acacia gum or fruit mix gumivore fare or bugs/fly pupae and spreading a tiny bit of Australian honey on a branch for them to lick off to keep them entertained now and again

During the day I was thinking about leaving out a couple of monkey biscuits soaked in mango or papaya fruit juice or a little bit of insectivore fare, just for something different and if they get hungry they have something to munch on
