I just wanted to let everyone who helped me with the biting issue know where we are standing. Fizgig is doing well after his little surgery.
He is very hyperactive when he first wakes up but we just sit and talk with him at night instead of trying to do a lot with him right now. Trying to move a little slower. We found out that a lot of his biting me issues were related to my nail polish. I always have red nail polish on because of my job and he seems to associate that with his apples. I have not worn the polish in the last 2 weeks and he isn't very aggressive toward my fingers like he use to be. I have gotten him the apple sticks. He doesn't chew on them much, he seems to prefer his cage and other random objects for that. Tonight will be his first tent time since he has been letting me stick my hand in his pouch and gets in my hand with no fuss or biting. I am truely hoping to be able to distract him from the arm, fingers, or ear biting during this short session. Thank you again to all who helped me go back to the basics and try once again to bond with fizgig.
