Make sure you get the biggest ones because they come up small.

It talks of a good ca:p ratio, and it does say that they are the same as the phoenix worms (both Black Soldier Fly larvae), so I'd imagine that the ca:p ratio is the same. Although I'm a little confused, why are they selling the same product with a different name?

Hi, Perhaps I can clarify things. We used to import Phoenix Worms from the USA. We are now breeding our own version here in the UK at our own breeding facilities. Phoenix Worm is a trademark of the American producers so we had to come up with a new name for our product, hence calling them CalciGrubs. Our aim was to bring the price of CalciGrubs more in-line with other livefoods, they now cost from £3.25 a pot (cheaper if you buy more) and the Medium & Large sizes you get approx. 100 grubs per pot so they actually work out cheaper than waxworms (normally £2.50 for 50) and you don't have to worry about dusting them, they are also less fatty than waxworms. For more info please visit our website: www.calcigrubs.co.uk

ordered some of these and then had problem so ended up with them emailing me personally (the company not the calcigrubs!) so whilst was emailing asked about ratios.... enclosed is the answer for others reference
"We do not have the actual scientific results for the Calcium to Phosphorous ratios at this moment for calcigrubs to be able to say what they actually are, but what i can say is that they are the very same species as the American Phoenix worm grown in the same methods and diets so i cannot see why the ratios should not be similar to those which are:-small has a Ca:P ratio of 1.2 to 1 medium has a Ca:P ratio of 1.52 to1 Large has a Ca:P ratio of 3.2 to 1 Hope this is of help to you. Many thanks, Graham."

mine (with a little help from roxy) have eaten their way through 2 pots of the large having 2-3 times a week and enjoyed.... only thing was today (on last set) had to squidge a hatched fly.... gross! dont know if they are ok or not but looked gross (and big!) and when squidged had weird green blue stuff come out of its tail!!!
anyone know how long the grubs are supposed to keep! and if the flies are ok or not if happends with my next lot
good thing though is that means they keep about a month ish in cool- ish kitchen cupboard even once black and are still alive - a little sluggish but had warmed food slightly by mistake after defrosting it and they all livened up and started crawling out the bowl!
