I was thinking that it would be really useful to prospective keepers like me and new keepers to have a list of dangers to sugar gliders, as I have come across a few whilst reading. This list could be updated as new dangers come to light in order to keep everyone informed. maybe we could have a sticky topic?
In my reading so far Ive discovered the following can be dangerous (can the experienced keepers confirm these as I know you shouldnt believe everything you read - but I would rather be safe than sorry).

Onions - extremely bad for suggies?
Catnip - can be fatal?
Grapes ( possability - I would rather avoid them after reading about problems with severaol other mammals)
Wire wheels - solid ones help prevent accidents.

I thought I would add a few others  and maybe break them down into dietary, household, enclosure  groups etc.

Standing water - baths, toilets etc
Uncovered plug sockets

Plants - some are poisonous to suggies - does anyone have an up to date list?

caffiene

Im quite sure there are lots to add, but I will leave it up to the experienced keepers as im only reading and reseraching up to now

I can add most certainly water is BAD

Also - Cat Flaps.

Also - Leaving Sweets laying around, trust me when i say they soon figure out how to unwrap everton mints!

Lightbulbs - they get dead hot there are plenty of lamp shades which totally enclose the bulb preventing the suggie accidently burning themselves
